Pollard Thomas Edwards has prepared a masterplan for this six-hectare site adjoining Stratford City and including part of the Olympic Legacy land. Our proposals create over 1,000 new homes and a new family neighbourhood which integrates the existing community to the east with the emerging city to the west.
Chobham Farm Zone 1 - Prospect East - is a new community focal point, with shops, cafes, a small supermarket and commercial spaces activating Liberty Bridge Road and providing 173 new mixed tenure homes.
PTE provided a full service from concept to delivery.
“Throughout the development of Prospect East, we have worked with architects Pollard Thomas Edwards to deliver a contemporary scheme, which combines both Chobham Farm’s rural history and its rich industrial past. Once home to Stratford Works, the largest railworks in the UK, the themes of connectivity and innovation have been intricately woven into the details of the infrastructure of the scheme, an unusual and distinctive fusion of the old and the new."
Joy Millet, Head of Development, East Thames Group
“From the outset, our aim has been to deliver a carefully considered scheme and Prospect East represents the culmination of our extensive design process. Our vision was to create an inclusive neighbourhood which will make a positive difference to new and existing communities through social and physical regeneration. We expect to see a significant amount of local interest, from buyers looking to invest in what is fast becoming one of London’s most fashionable post codes.”
