Cherry Hinton Design Code

23.09.22

Land North of Cherry Hinton Design Code has been approved unanimously by members at Joint Development Control Committee, described by the planning committee chair as exemplary.

The Code was developed alongside landscape architects McGregor Coxall to create an innovative model of Living Infrastructure, using the code to bring together movement, social connectivity, and nature.

Alexis Butterfield, partner in charge at PTE said “The code is a key milestone in our wider work with Bellway Latimer JV to develop 1,200 homes, a new local centre, and two new schools at the East Cambridge site. PTE is currently working on the sitewide infrastructure and detail phase 1 packages consisting of 355 homes.”
